Google has recently made alteration to the photo and video content policy for Google My Business listings. According to Google – photos and videos will be reviewed before being published.

Following this new policy changes, you are likely to expect some delay with photos and videos showing up on a Google My Business profile after being uploaded – in the coming days.
To be honest, Google did not state whether photos and videos will automatically be reviewed by Artificial Intelligence, or if content will go thorough a team of human reviewers. In fact, having a human review process could lead to a longer delay in content being published for GMB users but they are likely to spot things that machines can’t. We can only wait and see how these changes would evolve going forward….
